Nurse Practitioner Services in Regina
Haas Physical Therapy is pleased to offer nurse practitioner services to help support access to primary care for individuals without a family doctor. Our nurse practitioner, Nicole Scott, entered into a contract with the Ministry of Health as of November 2025. As a result, appointment fees for nurse practitioner visits no longer apply and services are covered with a valid Saskatchewan Health Card. All lab work, referrals, specialist consults, and investigations (including X-ray and ultrasound) are covered under provincial health care.
Please note that fees may apply for non-insured services, such as completion of forms, medical notes, or other third-party documentation.

Nurse Practitioners are able to be family care providers. Anything that you might see your family physician or a walk in clinic for, a nurse practitioner can help you with! (examples include; treating illnesses like coughs and colds, managing chronic diseases like diabetes & COPD, PAPS, PreNatal Care, Pre Menopausal and menopausal care, routine screening for cancers, kidney disease, and diabetes, mental health illness, and more!

Nurse Practitioners do not practice under physicians. They are able to work independently.

"She will take the time to listen to you. Actually listen. And then take the time to get to a root cause of the issue you are having. She makes you feel like you are her only patient. She will go over your history with you and explore options. She will do what’s best for YOU. Nicole looks over all lab results thoroughly and will explain the results to you. She is excellent with filling out the documents for work and insurance. As a veteran, the veteran affairs documents can be quite exhaustive but Nicole never even flinched at them. I pay out of pocket for my visits, as my work insurance doesn’t cover nurse practitioner as primary care. I will tell you now it is worth every single penny."
